As you know, father's day is next week and my grandpa loves sushi and chinese food. I was thinking about taking the family to a hibachi restaurants that day. So I was wondering what the price range would be for a group of five to eat at the restaurant?

I'm from Baton Rouge and they have places like Kamado's and Tokyo Cafe, both of which i lovee! ;D

  1. Try the 2 links below.......type in what type of restaurant and also the cities you want to know about........You will get local customers reviews..........and sometimes they have websites with prices and menus.

    www.yelp.com

    www.kudzu.com

  2. budget about $30 per person and don't forget to tip both the waitstaff and hibachi chef..

if either of the places you mentioned offer a lunch menu on Saturdays (I know Benihana does!), consider going a day early and for lunch..  less wait, less crowds and a cheaper bill..  plus older people like to eat early anyway..

  3. I can only give you an approximation, because restaurant prices vary and entrees/drinks vary.

Be prepared to spend anywhere between 15 (stingy) to 40 (very generous) dollars per head.

For a group of five that's: $75 - $200.  This is expecting an entree, one or two alcoholic drinks each, and tip.

Remember, prices jump way up with alcohol.  Drinks everywhere are a major rip-off (75% is the least profit you'll be paying the restaurant).  You'll save a lot by buying a couple six packs, a bottle of wine, or whatever floats your boat(s) from a store, and saving the drinking for home.
