I have the original Hibore is it worth it to update to the new Hibore XLS or is there not much of an improvement. If there is how has it improved? Also how do drivers like the Taylor Made burner, Ping G10, and other drivers around the $$300 dollar price range compare with both the old and new hibore?

  1. I have the Taylor made Burner. It's a beautiful club and very forgiving in terms of where you hit it on the club face.

These new club are not there for hitting hard - it is for swinging through.

Why not try it? A change is as good as a holiday!

    Good luck with your decision.

  2. I would try the Burner, or another TaylorMade (last year's model discounted?).  I've never hit the original HiBore as far as TaylorMade drivers that I've tried.  But each person may hit clubs differently, so it may work better for you.

  3. I owned they original hibore right before this and loved it so much when it got old i had to get the XLS and it is a lot different. I get a lot higher launch and less side spin. huge upgrade. i was also considering the burner but i made the right choice by taking the XLS.

  4. test them on a launch monitor and see which one works best. no one person can tell you which one works best because we all have different golf swings.
