Hi!can you tell me what is exactelly called an ''illness''?and how many types of illness exist?thanks a lot

as i know..what i given by a virus or by a cold air..is called an ilness..but is being mute or blind also a illness?i doesn't seem so to me..being cold , having cough..etc..having a virus , which cause the change of the skin into a point or part etc...etc is totally different then being blind or mute- unable to talk...unable to walk,...unable to remind..things..loosing memory..which does not seem an ilness it looks better as an ability lost due to a punishment given by God.e.gin the bible the father of John the Baptiser was blinded by God because he being a priest didn't believe the angel that said that his wife is gonna have a child(saint John the Baptiser, because his wife was old as i remember and sometimes probably they didn't believe it was a real angel because satan could show up even like an angel -an the blindness was only for a period of time ..

Or other problems let by God happened when the people sin ..and the devil obtains the permission to bind them in differnt ways.

iv never really thought about this but good question...i think you call people who are a blind or mute as someone with a dissability usually, not someone with an illness....and im  not really religious so i dont have much to say about the whole god thing,  sounds silly to me. cuz so many terrible things can happen to good people i just cant belive god is a reason for these bad thigns to happen to these good people its stupid.

as said, blindness is not an illness.  

if u get prolonged sickness - that's illness

illness covers diseases eg cholera, tubercolosis

this idea of illness from God is a matter of interpretation.  if u believe god is not all loving, all caring, then its possible.  

for those with disability, its bad and wrong for religion to say that its god's punishment.  it doesnt make sense.  a baby born innocent gets punished for what?  parent's misdeeds.  god is not evil.  we must stopped being duped by the priest who is misinterpreting religion to control the pple.  

we must be able to think and discern and conduct independent thinking and seek the real truth and not half truths.  

for the person taking care of a handicap child - it shld be seen as a bounty from god to be given this special privilege.  so please lets change our mindset
