  1. Kicking is random. Hiccups are like grownup hiccups. There is a rhythm to them. "bump-bump-bump-bump-bump-bump".

  2. I always think they're hiccups too when that happens to me, just because they're so steady and they're so consistent. But this is the first time I've been pregnant so I could be wrong. When he's kicking, it's not as consistent...there's harder, softer, just really random...

  3. she is kicking because the hiccups would be different.

  4. If it's steady, it's probably hiccups. My hiccups have not happened all over my belly-just this week, I could feel her hiccup down low (she's head down), and it would cause her leg near my belly button to stick out everytime she hiccuped, but the whole belly didn't move. It was kind of funny, actually. :)

You will know the difference between the two once you start to feel her move a lot more.

  5. When ur baby has hickups ull b able to tell it is a lot of lil kicks is what it feels like but its routine she'll do it every few seconds my baby gets them everynite and sumtimes thru out the day!!

  6. pretty much as you are describing! im 23 weeks with baby number 4 and this one is as hiccuppy as the last lol. hard to tell for sure but it does sound like it

  7. I think they are hiccups because you feel them every few seconds.

  8. I would say kicking-I'm 24 weeks pregnant, so I still can't totally differentiate yet though.

  9. It sounds as if your baby is kicking theirs a lot more to come, good luck anyway x*x{mother of 3}.

  10. hickups are felt all over the whole belly, if it is a kick you should feel a distinct feeling in one spot of the belly. i prefer kicks to hickups.

  11. Sounds like it could be the hiccups.  Hiccups are normally a consistent "pop" in the same spot.  They are usually felt down in the lower part of your abdomen (where the baby's head is) or on one of your sides (the baby's body).  Normal kicks will be felt throughout the whole belly and normally there is no rhythmic pattern to them.  My baby started the hiccups around 22-23 weeks and my midwife told me that was what I was feeling.  As you go on, it will get more intense:)  Congratulations and good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.  Hope this helped!
