Hidden Identity looking to break the shackles in Injured Jockeys Fund Mares´ Novices´ Hurdle
Hidden Identity will be looking to bring up her maiden victory over hurdles by succeeding in the Injured Jockeys Fund Mares´ Novices´ Hurdle at Bangor-on-dee in England on Thursday, October 4, 2012. She has been delivering decent results in this form of
racing, but needs to take a couple of steps further in order to make her team proud.
There are quite a few decent runners lined up for victory in the class-4 contest, which is scheduled to start at 16:20 GMT. They will not have to deal with the bad weather, as the going has been described as good. Patience will be the key in determining
the winner of the 2 mile 4 furlong race, who will be awarded a cash prize of £3,899 in the end.
Looking at the record of all participants, it appears that the competition will be a close one. However, only one runner will finish at the top of the table in the event and that could be She Ranks Me, who will be partnered by veteran jockey, Jason Maguire.
The five-year-old mare has been delivering good results with consistency and her fans will be backing her up for a victory. She has got a decent record over hurdles and the punters will definitely be interested in placing a few bets on her.
Overall, the Donald McCain’s trainee has appeared in 10 events, winning just a couple of them. Importantly, her victories came in races over fences, which means that she likes running in such type of events.
On the other hand, Hidden Identity has never won a race over hurdles in her career. She does not have a lot of experience and is learning with the passage of time. She debuted in 2011 and was unable to catch the attention of anyone because of her lacklustre
performance.
However, the Tim Vaughan’s trainee did a very good job in her next three races. She has represented her team over a couple of hurdles and finished third in them. Although, her trainer would have been pleased with the results, yet he would be hoping for an
improvement today.
The six-year-old mare will be ridden by seasoned jockey, Richard Johnson, who has got a spectacular record at this level.
