Hidden Identity to pull back form for the William Hill “The Jumps” Enter Today Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle
The Class 4 William Hill “The Jumps” Enter Today Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle has brought together a very modest field of fifteen contenders who are four-year-old and above for the two mile challenge at Lingfield on Tuesday, 13th November. Majority
of the entries have not won since quite a long time, and are having a hard time to maintain a certain level of performance.
A comparatively better option in the line-up is the Irish bay mare, Hidden Identity. She suffered through a dreadful outcome in her most recent outing, but otherwise has been striving well than any of the rest in the lot for the race today.
The six-year-old bid farewell to the 2011 season by taking back to the stable the prize money of the Holmes O’Malley Sexton Mares INH Flat Race on 27th December at Limerick over two miles. The favourite entry won by ten lengths in companionship
with jockey, Ms. K. Walsh.
Beneficial’s bay mare penetrated into the 2012 season by ending third in theconistonhotel.com Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle on 7th March, 2012 at Catterick over two miles.
The race was won by, Countess Comet, while Hidden Identity settled third with jockey, Michael Byrne, onboard.
The seven-year-old out of, Swanbrook Leader, finally won the Injured Jockeys Fund Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle on 4th October, 2012 at Banger-on-dee over two miles and four furlongs.
The Richard Johnson ridden defeated the favourite entry, She Ranks Me, by 3 ¾ lengths. The duo did not become prominent right after the race began, rather they ranked sixth down the leaders. By the eighth hurdle, Hidden Identity ranked second and stayed
strong and determined at the concluding stages of the race.
The third slot was filled in by, Glenora Gale.
Her very recent attempt was in the Marie Curie Cancer Care Handicap Hurdle on 20th October, 2012. She ended tenth in the line-up of twenty-three contenders.
She will be paired up with the same jockey as the last time, Aidan Coleman, and the Tim Vaughan trained has raced at and over the distance that she has to undertake today. The level of competition has left open for her avenues that will give her a chance
to pull back her form.
