  1. his is because of virus also , plz check ur system

  2. If your system is infected by this virus you can’t see hidden files and folders , even after applying the settings to show hidden folders. This setting is reverted back to Don’t show hidden files and folders by the virus.

This happens because virus protects the two hidden ,system files called d.com and autorun, inf which are created by amvo.exe and amvo0.dll , amvo1.dll which resides in system32 folder on the OS drive (hard disk partition on which windows operating system is installed).

Follow the set of commands to delete these files

    1. Open Start>>Run and type cmd and press enter. This will open windows command prompt window. On this window, type as directed in steps further and press enter at the end of each step.

    2. type cd\

    3. type cd windows\system32

    4. type attrib -r -h -s amvo.exe

    5. type del amvo.exe

    6. type attrib -r -h -s avmo0.dll ,repeat the steps 5 and 6 again to delete avmo1.dll

    7. now type d: and press enter for d: drive partition.

    8. type attrib -r -h -s autorun.inf

    9. type del autorun.inf

    10. type attrib -r -h -s d.com

    11. type del d.com

Similarly repeat from steps 8 to 11 for all your hard disk partitions to remove the files created by the virus.

    Solution 2

       1. KILL all the processes like AMVO.exe or AVPO.exe

       2. Type "msconfig" without quote in run and press Enter.

             1. Go to startup tab and uncheck any entry on amvo.

       3. Type "cmd" without quote in run

             1. type "d:" and then press Enter

             2. type autorun.inf and then press Enter

             3. a file will open in notepad. this would have the name of the .exe/.bat/.com file in it, which is mounted at the boot time.

       4. Type "regedit" without quote in run and press Enter.

             1. Press Ctrl+F and type amvo, do the search again and again and delete all the related entries.

             2. Press Ctrl+F and type u.bat, do the search again and again and delete all the related entries.

             3. Press Ctrl+F and type amva, do the search again and again and delete all the related entries. Generally it should be HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Sh... Tools\MSConfig\startupreg\amva

             4. search for the registry of file name which was entered in autorun.inf and delete all entries.

Now restart the computer. and do the followings

       1. Go to regedit and then HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Wi... \Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHOWALL

       2. Double click on the entry called CheckedValue and replace the 0 with 1.

       1. Now Close all the windows and Press Ctrl+E to open the explorer.

       2. Enable the hidden option from the folder options.

       3. Delete all the malicious files as mentioned above.

       4. Your computer is now trojan free.

       5. Find all the amvo related files and delete them. (some of them are amvo0.dll, amvo1.dll etc.)

  3. do System restrore (dont worry! it wont restore the virus) then defrag disc. . .

  4. make sure your login account has admin rights, also make sure this is not controlled by a local or group policy

  5. what file are you looking for and why
