Hidden gems ( Easter eggs) in towns and cities?

I once found a website that was a forum for people who made little guestbooks, notes, pictures items or something else hidden somewhere. You were given clues where it was (maybe a picture maybe some description like :" book hidden under the lightpole at joestreet 3 Shelbyville Texas" or something . Then you could locate it, but your name in the guestbook, put it to its place and then some other people could find it. You yourself could make an easter egg like this and post it to that website.

Well, question is: does somebody know what the URL is for that site or anything simular. I just cant remember where I was it.
