Hidden moving costs.?

Question

Are there any hidden costs people found when they have decided tomove in. I'm not talking groceries or furniture, I'm trying to think outside the box?

Move in as in move in to your girlfriends house? Hmmm... costs for extra grooming?

depends really. there shouldn't be just get the facts about a bond and rent. then there will be power and phone costs. Possibly transport

I have moved many  times and the best advice that I can give you is to move as little of your stuff as possible.  Garage sale it out or give it away.  Most of your paperwork is superfluous and unnecessary.  Almost any of your furniture can be replaced at 10 cents on the dollar at the many auction houses across the country.  So get rid of your stuff.  If you don't have to move it at all it will cut your costs by a huge margin.  Check the yellow pages of the city that you are moving to and see if they have auction facilities.  Auctions are a blast and you end up with new stuff.  Usually better than what you had in the first place.
