Hidden spy on the computer?

When I shut down my computer, a box comes up saying

Uipopup hidden

It comes up in a dialog box which says ending program. I have run adware spyware and antivirus, but it still shows up. Is it some sort of spy software? How can I get rid of it. I am totally skint so can anyone recommend a free program to get rid of it? Thanks.

All I can find out about this is the following:

"Seems to be related with a programme called NetGuard that NTL (VirginMedia now?) distribute. Or freedom.exe"

If you are using VirginMedia and Netguard I would get in touch with them and ask if they know anything about it.

If you have a program called freedom.exe I would uninstall it.

You may find that a virus checker doesn't help because it sounds like an application error rather than a virus.

Run the programme below, its free, its great. After installation do an update, then shut down and restart in safe mode. Do the scans from safe mode. Do all the scans u did again. To get into safe mose hit F8 at the very begining and choose safe mode without network support. After u finish do a shutdown and restart. Good luck.
