Guus Hiddink has said that he might extend his coaching career at the Russian Premier League club and has expressed satisfaction on Fyodor Smolov’s progress
Anzhi Makhachkala head coach, Guus Hiddink, has denied the media reports that he is set to end his coaching career, saying that he might extend his contract at the Makhachkala-based club.
The Dutch tactician, who joined the Russian Premier League club after signing a one-year contract this season, had earlier said that he more interested in working as a career councillor for young coaches.
Hiddink told the media that he is likely to retire after the end of the ongoing league campaign irrespective of the fact that the mega rich Dagestani club qualify for the UEFA Champions League or not.
“I am already 66, so you can say that I've had enough.  I cannot say what I will do after saying farewell to coaching but I would like to be an adviser for young coaches," the UEFA European Cup winner had said.
However, the former Real Madrid and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 boss has now poured water on his own statements, saying that he just highlighted his desire to do something else.
“I only discussed different scenarios. I am not young and do not know what will happen next year. I only discussed all the options.” The FA Cup winner was quoted as saying.
Anzhi, who are at the 3rd spot on the league table, will lock horns with the table-toppers, CSKA Moscow, at Dynamo stadium (Makhachkala) on Sunday.

silence their critics.
The former Real Betis boss went on to shower praise on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fyodor-Smolov-c14249, saying that the 22-year-old winger is making good progress after joining the Russian outfit on a season long loan spell from Dynamo Moscow this summer.
Hiddink revealed that Smolov is growing as a footballer after neatly adopting to the team’s playing style since leaving Moscow.
