  1. You would still be under a threat of having debris fall on you from above.  That is why it would be better to hide under furniture or a doorway, where some protection is offered.

  2. you shouldn't hide in the bathroom while an earthquake in starting because the bathroom might get damaged, and probably the pipes will break then you would probably get wet.

  3. My first inclination would be to hide in a bathtub with a door covering it. I know the doors in our house can be quickly taken off but I would probably be in bother if I was somewhere else, in which case I would go to the most open space I could find

  4. The bathtub would not be the worst place to take shelter.

The best place indoors would be to stand in an open doorway.

The problem is that most earthquakes only last for a few seconds and are over before you would even have any time to react.

Covering your head is the most important thing, even if it just with your arms, since your head is the most vulnerable part of your anatomy.

Broken bones can heel, a damaged brain doesn't.

Earthquakes don't kill people, but crumbling structures and falling debris do.

  5. probably not because if u hit yr head on the bath it could knock u out
