Hiding phone number???

my phone doesnt give the option on the handset to withhold number. im going to be ringing my work from spain but want to withhold my number so they dont know im ringing from outside uk. on my house phone if someone rings from abroad it comes up 'international' i DONT want this to come up on my works phone!!! any ideas how to withhold my number??

  1. 141 it! works on my mobile u sure it cant be turned off?? try this settngs-network services- caller ID-hide number this is for a samsung phone but are all quite similar, other phones it maybe under call settings rather than network sttings hope this helps!


  2. why don't you use a calling card, because the number will only show a UK number with it!!!

    anyway,  using 141 will not work anyhow when you dial international phone number!!

  3. what phone do you have?

    Unless it's a really really old phone you will have this option.  I may be able to help depending on what phone you have x

  4. Don't worry the number will not come up.

  5. Find out the code for withholding numbers in the country you're going to (eg here in the UK it's 141), & type that in before the number you're dialling... it should work.
