Hiding your ISP....?

Can anyone tell me if there's a way to hide your ISP location where it appears on public forums. I don't want these lunatics to even know what TOWN I live in.

  2. Get behind a web proxy.  There's tons of free web proxies out there, and Firefox has some great plugins that allow you to get behind proxies quickly and easily.  I recommend the switchproxy plugin.
