High Buildings has high hopes for the Bord Na Mona A2 525 – Round 1- Heat 2
The favourite of the second heat of the Grade A2 Bord Na Mona A2 525 – Round 1 is the three-year-old, High Buildings. The race will provide him with a chance to post the second success of the season. Participating for taking back the €50 to the connections are Carlows Glory, Ashmar Millie, Kearneys Fairy, Heroes Romance and Active Finch.
Building Block’s son is lightly raced in the 2012 season and has won only once ever since the season kick started. The three-year-old has raced at Harold’s Cross primarily and has given a few shots to another venue too.
After failing in first five career starts, the black and white dog struck a back-to-back, but failed when it came to a further step, the hat-trick.
His first success during the career was in the Grade A7 Book Your Christmas Party 525 on 7th November, 2011 at Harold’s Cross over 525 yards. The talent packed line-up was dominated by, High Buildings, who concluded the race in 29.53 seconds.
Winning by the margin of 4 ½ lengths meant that Ninkenpoop settled as the runner-up of the race.
The three-year-old out of, Ya Daisy Ya, then won the Grade A4 Welcome To Harolds Cross Greyhound Stadium 525 on 6th December, 2011 at Harold’s Cross over 525 yards.
Taking every chance to race away and lead got the race settled in 29.27 seconds. He defeated the runner-up of the race, Rackethall Park, by four lengths.
The Grade A2 It’s Your Final Chance To Pick A Winner 525 on 17th January, 2012 was to prove as the third and final leg of the hat-trick, but culminated into a second position for the three-year-old. He qualified as the runner-up after racing for 29.50 seconds and missing the race by six lengths.
The only success of the Hickeys trained in the new season was in the Grade A2 Dunboyne AFC A2 525 on 4th May, 2012 at Harold’s Cross over 525 yards. The black and white dog concluded the race in 29.11 seconds, and won by the margin of two lengths.
The next four races that the two-year-old under took did not transform into success while the most recent one was a second position.
