OK, I have a 30 inch widescreen, flat-tube tv, high def 1080i capability. Samsung 2007. Now, I hooked the cable through just the plain coax cable and I was able to pick up High Def channels. Then I got digital cable and used that for awhile, picking up High-def through that. I wasn't using the TV for a couple months, but now I am using it again, but without the cable box. And now I cannot pick up the High DEf channels. (the basics channels, NBC, CBS, FOX, etc. and also I was able to pick up the Music Choice channels as well)

Does anyone know why I am unable to pick these channels up now?

(I have Time Warner Cable by the way.) and I am using Coax cables again I believe the TV has a digital tuner in it already.

  1. If you have an atsc digital tuner or a qam tuner, it should pick up HD. Try scanning again. It's possible Time Warner scrambled them during that time.
