1 300-380 amp alternator

1 interstate battery under the hood (biggest one they sell)

2 red top optima batteries in trunk

1 custom built box tuned to 40hz (43 hz is my cars loudest hz)

1 rockford fosgate t4000

2 dd audio(digital designs) 9515s with the carbon fiber dust cap (no composite cone)

0 guage wire

200 amp fuse

im goin to exclude the speakers and 4 channel amp in my question..if im doing anything wrong please tell me ....or if there is a better way to get to my goal while maintaining great quality please tell me..thanks

  1. Ehhh, 150 dB's is very enclosure dependent, to get that high up you need to find a box that will peak at about 50-55 Hz. tuning that high will only be loud to the microphone, not to your ears. If you want loud to your ears you need to tune to about 30-35 Hz. In a trunk car with a box tuned to 32 Hz. with subs and port facing the trunk you till peak at about 40 Hz. that is right in the middle, its a good mix. And DD's are very amazing woofers, but with only 4K RMS you won't break 150dB's with that box. Good luck!

  2. Trust me, I believe you can get "atleast" 150 easily, and yes that will work, and you will really wake up "not the "neighborhood", but the "CITY"...lol, no joke.

    I know!!!...

    Hope I helped.

  3. that will wake up the whole city..glad i dont live near you.

but that will be more than enough to rattle windows lol
