  1. 02 chevy 1/2 ton 150 000 kms runs awesome changed wheel bearing only thing major

87 ford 3/4 ton 350 000 kms runs so so needs tune up needs new alternater

  2. 160,000 MILES on my Dodge Ram and I just take care of it.

  3. 1990 Volkswagen Jetta Wolfsburg

    377,000 miles.

Always changed the oil and did regular tune ups.

But I worked with cars my entire life so.

  4. Nissan Maxima 128K miles

Change the oil every 6 months with Mobil 1 10w-30 (not synthetic)

    Replace all brittle hoses

Installed an oil catch can just incase

Cleaned up inside the intake manifold and throttle body

Replaced most parts requiring replacement around factory recommended intervals

    etc

Main thing I do to make it stay running is have it. The VG engine series has an extremely long life (my dad has abused 2 Pathfinders with the same engine past 200K with no rebuilds and running strong) and I've seen one on ebay with over 500K miles. For that reason me, my dad, and my mom drive Nissans with VGs. I never plan to part with this car unless it is involved in an accident which damages it beyond repair. I'm hoping to someday pick up a Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo which also uses the same engine for the same reasons: it's reliable even if you beat on it.

  5. I have a 2001 Civic with 217,000.  Engine still doesn't burn a drop of oil.
