High Noon expected to dominate Stondon Dash – Dup
High Noon has won the best odds for the Stondon Dash – Dup at Henlow in England on Thursday, June 28, 2012. The winner of the Grade OR event will be given away a cash prize of £150.
Speed will be crucial in the 277 metres race, which is scheduled to start at 20:01 GMT. There are a couple of decent runners in contention for victory, but the conditions will suit High Noon more than anyone else. He is carrying in excellent form right now, which will help him catch a lot of bets from the punters.
The P. Dolby’s trained hound was a touch inconsistent at the start of his career and it seemed that he would struggle to perform in the higher grades. However, his trainer worked hard in order to improve his performances and things have finally started to move in a positive direction for him.
High Noon’s performances in this class have been terrific, which shows that he delivers better results under pressure. He will definitely trouble his opponents in the race today.
In his previous three outings at Henlow, the blue dog has been completely dominant, as he managed to win all of them. All of these races were over a short distance of 277 metres, which proves that he has got an excellent speed.
Ballymac Maeve’s son out of Tahiti Pearl brought up his last victory on June 7 this year. He was not rated as the favourite to win back then, but he proved the bookies wrong in the end. His strength was the speed at the start, which allowed him to create a gap of more than two lengths overall.
However, the favourite hound failed to deliver a solid show in his most recent outing, as he finished third, despite being given the best odds for victory. He was a touch unlucky that time around, as he got blocked at the start. A clean run would have definitely put him on top of the table.
Pennys Pong is another runner, expected to fight for a win. However, she lacks the experience to match the class of High Noon, who is in a strong position at the moment.
