High PH.. How do I nring it down? Nitrate is fine. How do I drop the ph?

It is a 12 gallon tank setup about 2 months ago. Lately in 1 day I just lost 3 fishes. Everything checks out except my PH is high.. very pink.

How many fish are/were in it?  What does your ammonia and nitrite test?  I doubt that if the tank has been up and cycled for 2 months that the pH is suddenly the cause of your deaths.

I'm not sure how they use it but many people use peat in their filter media when keeping acidic type fish such as tetras. It is more advisable to go to your local pet store to buy a pH down product. Most pet stores have these on hand.
