High Paying Jobs????

I want to do a job that is something more than just the office but at the same time I would do an office job if I must. I love people and travelling. I want to live a good life where i do not have to work 24/7 to barely get by. My goal is in the mid 6 figure income. I figure the best way to pick a career is to also think what i want from it, and frankly i want private laguna beach, ocean front home so i need to get to work. I am prepared to go to school once i pick the career. So now all thats left is any help that you guys can give and my own research into the matter... what specific career fields should i be looking at here people... thanks

  1. I only know of one job that fits your description.  A Pharmacist.  They make over $100K and they are paid hourly.  They are also in high demand so finding a job is not that hard.  The only hard part is your initial investment.  It is a lot of school.  However, it is worth it.

  2. Hi Trip,

Have you ever considered getting involved in real estate investing? I know of a great school that you can attend either in person or online and it's not only practical, but interesting. If you have a passion for it, you can make good money in any market. If you do your homework, a  large majority of the wealthy in this or any country have investments in real estate.

For more info go to http://www.reinvestorsolutions.com/weste... and/or call 949.963.9094. There is a local office in Orange County if you're a resident.

BTW - I've been in the staffing industry now for about 10 years and there are only so many 6-figure income jobs that are out there, and many of them come with a high price tag (in terms of education, sacrifice and effort)

  3. Investment banking or just plain investing...or just high stakes gambling....its all the same thing..

  4. ASStronaut or an ASSassin

  5. To make $100,000/yr, you need to be a top level manager in a company, or own your own business, or have a rare talent (singing, sports, etc.)

To make $65,000 - $80,000, you need to be in a field where Joe SixPack can't be trained in two months to do the job just as well as someone with several years experience (engineer, accountant, etc.)

    -----------------

It's not what you make, it's what you keep.

If you blow all the money you have (and money you don't have yet), you'll never get any money saved toward that beach house.

The two biggest ways people blow money:  Credit cards, and car loans.

If you can avoid those (you heard me right, pay cash for a car), and set aside $500/month into a Roth IRA, then you can have those millions you want.
