High School, anything I should know before I go?

Question

So, next wednesday, the 3rd of September, I will have to go to a Public HS for the first time in my life, ever. It's gonna be my junior year and the only High School I've ever been to is the strict Private School I went to last year. But for a really stupid reason (I'm gonna keep that private) I can't attend that school anymore.

I know I'll have to build up a rep and that I'll have to find new friends again, but that's not going to be a problem. I already got help with how I should dress on day one, since I was only used to my uniform.

So my question is, is there anything I should know before I go there? I mean, like how to behave, that kinda stuff.

Also, I was thinking about using my middle name, Melissa, or Liz for short. Do you like that better than Sarah?

don't be a follower, be a leader. don't fall into peer pressure. join activity groups. stay involved. study hard and get that diploma. make the best of it as much as you can. good luck.

Melissa is a pretty awesome name   :)

But I like Sarah , It just doesn't stand out as much as Melissa .

Public school is pretty easy compared to Private ,

Just don't get into anything "bad"

Stay away from alchohol and drugs ,

make good friends

and have fun ! :)

dont act like ur all that and dont act all nerdy  like answerin all the questions, and idk just dont get in the way of the older kids it should be fine.

nothing really

it's the same as middle school

only everyone got taller (well most)

& people may change (not all)

use Sarah (that's one of my favorite names!)

be very out going, i made some friends on the first day. dont act like ur above the seinors, take a positive atitude about high school because u can one of two types of people: the frustrated anti-social wierdo or the normal kids that does all the things normal high school kids do, so good luck!!!

Be yourself, be accepting of people that are different and enjoy high school. Try not to get caught up in too much drama.
