  1. English all depends on the teacher..... u might have to do book reports every week or as in my case u may have a homework assignment once a month. Math on the other hand will probably be more difficult depending what u have either algebra1 or 2, or geometry.... the only thing u can do is do ur homework.... helps alot!!!! and start reviewing a couple days b4 the tests. History is easy basically WWI and WWII. Biology's not so bad either again it all depends on ur teacher.... hope this helps

If u aren't taking a foreign language already then i would recommend sign language if ur skool has it.... no homework in sign language...LOL

  2. No english is simple, although i took geometry for math and that was hard for me and it may be hard for you. I chose to take Art class and that boosted my GPA. History was easy because talking about WWI and WWII was interesting. Chemistry is hard though the periodic table was the hardest topic. So yea hope this helps.

  3. It always depends on your classes.

Sophomore English was hard at my high school for a lot of people.

Biology was the class the most people failed, but your school may not require that in the 10th grade.

Anything AP or honors will be tricky.

You can expect a little more homework than you had last year, but it wasn't a hard year at my school.

    Good luck!

  4. depends on your classes. i made all A's and one B in 10th grade... and that's with honors classes.

  5. I'm in year 9. But i have Friends in year 10. they say it's hard but trust me if ur a hard worker and u study. It's as easy as "A,B,C".

ALL THE BEST AND GOOD LUCK!

  6. naw dude mi  hard year was freshmen bc the school was new and the stuff was harder but when i returned as a sophomore the things were easy er.

  7. This usually depends on which school you go to and who your teachers are. But for me, the jump from freshman to sophomore year was pretty hard. I took Honors Geometry, Honors English, AP European History, Spanish 3, PE, and Honors Chemistry. Geometry I did fine because I had a tutor, English had tons of tedious and repetitive work but it was easy, AP Euro was hard because I never understand history and I failed the AP exam, Spanish 3 was tough, PE...wtvr, and I got a C in Honors Chemistry because I could not understand that either.

My best advice for you is only take classes you really think you can handle and do well in. If you don't get history, don't take AP. If you don't get chemistry, don't take honors. You will only end up failing the class and it won't be good for your GPA. Instead, take a regular class and get an A. Unless you're really up for the challenge and you want to see if you can pull off an A in the hard classes. Just do not, do not, do not, slack off and fall behind sophomore year. It's one of the two most important years of high school that college admissions look at. You want to make sure you do well.

    Good luck.
