I spoke to my high school counselor and she gave a me a two year plan that spans from 9th grade to 10th grade. i would like to know what your opinions are regarding this schedule and tips would be appreciated:

9th Grade:

Honors Geometry

(AP) Human Geography

Biology

English 9A

Spanish

P.E. 9

10th Grade:

Honors Algebra 2/Trigonometry

Honors Chemistry

Honors English 10A

(AP) U.S. History

Honors Spanish

JV Tennis (P.E.)

How do i get on top of my schoolwork and not drown. i worry mostly about 10th grade lol. My counselor is a demanding woman, she insists in putting me on top courses even though i don't think i can handle them. My parents side with the counselor though... :(

  1. that's a lot to take on your first two years of high school. you should have that same plan but do it you sophmore and junior year.

  2. just try ur best if she thinks ur smart ur probally r so jsut do ur best good luck xx

  3. Looks like a light schedule to me! jk.  Don't panic.  Just give it a try for 9th grade and if you find yourself overwhelmed you'll know to ease up a bit for tenth.  Plus I hear that colleges are really more impressed by being an expert or leader in one sort of club rather than just a member of tons of different clubs, so you could drop of one of your clubs if that helps.

  4. You'll be fine...just put your mind to it......you really only have 5 courses a year to worry about.....PE is easy. You be glad you got them over with

  5. Talk to another counselor. Tell them you're worried about the work load
