Question:

High School Basketball help?

I have my tryouts in December(I'm a freshman- 5'9 132lbs). I've been practicing all summer(mainly shooting). The problem is that I don't have enough time.I have at least an hour or 2 of homework. Other than basketball, I also practice another sport(golf) for an hour, and plus that I have to study for an exam that I'm about to give. So what would be a good 1-2 hour training that I could do?

  1. My opinion will be shot free throws one day including some shooting drills, and another day you could practice your handle going around trash can,chairs,ladder and other stuff. i dont think you should practice everything in one day. maybe some one day you might wanna combine them together.

    Ex: do a few move like crossover, behind the back, go left and then pull up fora jump shot. Its easy if you have a younger bro or sister to rebound you the ball, it speed up you training, unless you want to run for it and start from where you catch the ball.
