Is there a disadvantage for me if i dont take Spanish 3 in high school if i want to become a crna. Or am i able to not take it without any consequence futher down the road? Is it mandatory for college or for getting your BSN? Basically i just don't like it and i dont want to take it because i just plain stink at it and all its doing is bringing down my GPA.

  1. I doubt it. I would be more concerned about really nailing my classes that have to do with biology, human anatomy and physiology, organic or inorganic chemistry, algebra and pre-calculus, psychology, sociology, and english.

Having an AP Spanish score to your name would certainly help later on if you want to practice in a state that has a high number of Spanish speakers, such as California. But it's hardly essential to be a Spanish speaker to be a good nurse, or nurse anaesthetist.
