  1. 1. Don't get a binder because they tend to be too big and end up just getting in the way and making it harder to find what you need. Just have a folder and a notebook for each class.

Also 5 minutes is plenty of time to go to your locker and get to class on time as long as your locker is not way across the school from your classes and if you don't talk much between classes. If you find you don't have enough time to go to your locker between every class at least go once so that you only have to carry 2 classes worth of books at a time. (Ps. we only get 4 minutes between classes)

    2. Just be yourself, talk to people, and join a sport or a club or something to get to know some people!!

  2. buy one large ring binder but have a different colored folder for each class. binders take up too much room to have one for each class unless you're taking advanced math or science classes like AP Chem.

try to organize so you only have to go to your locker before school, at lunch, and after school. that way you won't have to battle the crowds of other kids as much.

and don't worry about not knowing anyone. some first day activities will be get to know you games and most schools have a first day just for freshman so you'll be able to get through a day without worrying about upperclassmen.

don't be afraid to get involved in clubs and sports. my school had a rock paper scissors club which was a ton of fun in a really relaxed environment where i was able to meet other cool people i wouldn't have otherwise gotten to know.

just relax and go with the flow of things and everything will be fine.

    good luck!

  3. wow you are lucky we are forced to take seven a semester unless you are one of us senior interns...personally a large zip up binder should do the trick..clean them out each term..leaving the things you must keep! ...and you should be fine.....break a leg freshman lol..trust that graduation will not be far away...... class of 09 rocks!!!

  4. You should get one for each a they will help you when you need to refer to something or study. Also be yourself but always be a better listner than talker as gossip and personal things are not always meant to be said .Dont put too much into the latest fashion.Just 3 or 4 pieces from hollister or abercrombie and then mix in jeans from khols or but capris on sale because summer is over.Good luck

  5. - on your first day your teachers should give you a list of things to buy, supplies, and theyll tell u whether or not binders are needed. thats what they did for us. dont worry about it. its nothing. every1 else has the same concerns as you. itll be addressed on the first day.

a lot of new comers have the same problem as you. the best thing you can do is remain freindly with everybody. talk to whoever you feel comfortable with. strike a convo and make some friends. they all feel the same as you, jsut remember you aint alone. dont worry about it! you got 4 more years to go and you're out.

  6. All you need is 1 binder
