High School JROTC help!?

ok so i was wondering if you do JROTC do you have to go to the same school or can you go to a different one?

  1. Huh? Same school as what?

    High school JROTC is just a local program you can attend. If you attend ROTC in college, you can go to any school in the country (that offers it). It's all the same training and applies to your commission.

JROTC is a class (an elective) at school, but if you can't take the class, you can still participate in the after school portion (color guards, drill team, demo squad, etc.).  You just have to talk to the SAI and/or the AI (the instructors).  My husband is a JROTC instructor, and he just had a kid from a local private christian school in his after school activities.  The kid graduated this year and joined the Army earlier this month.
