High School Job? Can I do it?

I was thinking when I turn 15 or 16 I want to try to be a Animal Care attendant. They just groom clean feed and exercise the animals. Do you think I could do that as a high school job? I don't think it needs any schooling.

  1. You might be able to but you could definitely volunteer at an animal shelter right away. They would love to have you. Good Luck :)

  2. ya thats should be great. just be careful that it doesnt overwhelm ur schoolwork!

  3. Hmm, depends where you go. I know I looked into getting a job at a vet's office doing that sort of stuff, but they wanted kids who had finished at least one year of college, but you can still try your local vets office and ask, can't hurt. So instead I got a different job and volunteered at the local zoo which was really fun. That way you can make some money and still get your animal fix all while racking up some community service hours (great for scholarships and such not to mention it's just a good thing overall) You can also volunteer at animal shelters if your interested-I have a friend who does that sometimes, walking and grooming dogs and the like.
