  1. what is you're question??lol.

  2. Did you just move there? Don't worry too much about it. Try to be open and friendly, because you attract more flies with honey! Haha, but seriously don't be afraid of extending yourself out to others because I can guarantee you that others are just as nervous as you are. It might even be helpful to go take a walk around the block tonight or something else to calm your nerves. I know that helped me out. Also, do not feel apprehensive about talking to others or asking for help. Kids want to make friends with others, and the first week or two is the easiest time to make friends. If you make the first move, and compliment another girl or a guy on their clothes, hair, etc. then they will be more free to talk to you. Keep in mind that they probably feel just like you, and if you can break the ice, it is a lot easier! High school is so much better because of all of the freedom you gain. It really is a great time in your life, so have fun with it! Good luck, and remember to be true to yourself, because others can see right through a fake act. I hope I helped, and just have fun!

  3. I feel the same way, and I'll be a sophomore this year! So I've already been through my freshman year I don't know why I'm so nervous haha. But I'm sure you'll be fine and you'll probably find someone you know to sit with. :) Good Luck.

  4. Most people do stay for lunch, considering it's the middle part of the day at any school.

Just find and remember people in your classes and when you go to lunch, seek them out and ask to sit with them. Get to know people, ask for names, try to remember the faces if you can't remember the names; I'm horrible with names, and at high school, especially on your first day, you'll meet a lot of people.

It's really not as bad as the movies and TV shows make it out to be. You'll survive, and each day will get easier.

  5. I'm a freshman too, but we started about 2 weeks ago.

It's not bad; I think you're nervous for the same reason I was.

I contacted my friends through myspace, thinking it would help. It didn't, and I freaked out. But when I got to school and went to lunch, I saw tons of friends from band (you may be in a sport or club that you know people from) and I remembered that a large majority of my friends don't even have myspace. Trust me; you'll know at least someone there and you'll be fine. The transition from middle school to high school is easy. I already feel like I've been going for a few years!

Movies portray high school so much differently than it really is. They always make it seem like it's one big battle "to be popular" or to fit in, with cliques in such. In middle school, I could (not in a bad way) point to a group and say, "they're considered the 'jocks'" and stuff like that. In my high school, I have no idea, everyone's mixed in. We don't even have any mean girls xD

Sorry for the long explanation, I just want to help :)
