High School Scholarships?

Question

Im going to a really expensive high school.

My parents are not that rich but they are proud of me for getting accepted.

They really want me to go to this school but we need a scholarship. Are there any high school scholarships that can help me out?

I've never heard of a high school scholarship. Only ones that you can apply for in high school to go to college.

www.fastweb.com is the name of a site that links you to a bunch of scholarships according to your specifications (age, interests, etc.). Good luck!

you can create a fastweb account and they have a lot of competitions like essays and stuff that you can turn in for scholarships but they are usually for college, i dont know about hs scholarships..try the site though.

High school scholarships are rare, however, work study is extremely common and almost every private school has it.

Just ask the principal or somebody in charge of the school about your financial situation and ask how to be involved in work study programs. They often require some work during the year, but will do a very good job providing financial aid. You should probably talk to your parents about what they think about work study, if they say "no, we can pay the full amount" then reply with a thank you and don't worry about it.
