Question:

High School Sophomore Year Help

So, I need help with the classes I'm registering for as a sophomore. For one.. I took Biology as a freshman, and can either take physics or chemistry. I suck at math, and dislike it greatly, so it should help me pick whichever course. I'll be taking algebra 2 this year.

The other thing is, I can either take this class which the high school calls lodging, or I don't take lodging, and the second year of PE, and take culinary arts as it requires 2 class periods.

The only reason I'm having trouble with this is because I'll be moving at the end of the semester to the states. So... yeah.

  1. Physics is basically all math, chemistry has more experiments. I love chem. And at my school, in the states, chem was the sophomore class while physics was for juniors if bio was taken freshman year. as for the second part, take what you're interested in!

  2. Pick chemistry first, so that when you go into physics you'll be stronger in math..

Stick with lodging and PE; do the culinary arts class in the upper-level years, because the more classes you have now, the better, and you can start focusing on your intrests later on.

  3. I would go with PE cos I dont know what lodging is, and you would have to make up PE when your a junior or senior, and that sucks.

Physics is easy and I wouldnt consider myself that great at math either.

You only need two years of PE for graduation.

  4. I would suggest chemistry before physics. There are tons of majors in college that require chemistry and it's great to have a basic knowledge. You can pick up physics as junior or senior as is typical.

Also do you want to take the culinary? If so then just do it.
