Question:

High School Study Abroad Programs?

I'm 16, a high school junior, and I live in the US, and I was thinking that I want to study abroad this school year. I would really like to study somewhere in Europe, like England (london) or Italy. I would also maybe like to study in Australia. I know that most programs are very long, like a full year, but I only want to go for like 1-2 months. I've searched all over the internet, but I just can't find any programs that fit what I'm looking for. Can someone recommend anything?

  1. I know that Rotary International sponsors high school study abroad students...check into that!  Best of luck!

  2. There is no way you can go for only 1 or 2 months. There isn't any program out there that offers that, unless it's during the summer.

The shortest school program is a semester which is about 5 months. I would really recommend a year though.

Some good programs are Rotary Youth Exchange and AFS.

    Here's their websites:
