  1. its true that there are going to be girls that are way better than you. but you need to be aware what position you are aiming for. defensive position, setter, middle hitter and left and right side. ask your coach what you are best skilled at as well. once you know ur spot watch the girls that are better than you and learn from them, be very attentive and let the coach know that you are willing to learn and give it your all. be ready to work. doing things that improve ur vertical jump and explosiveness is good too. be solid on ur approach and serve too. make a daily routine to be fit and read.

good luck i really hope u do well

  2. i made varsity freshmen year of highschool... dream big it can definitely happen. I did a lot of summer clinics, and traveled to canada and detroit for tournaments and such. i would go to the beach and run in the sand.. if you have one near you... do ANYTHING to build your stamina up. you need to obey orders, never ever ever talk back to the coach. call the ball so freakin loud that their ear hurts. and be agressive. show ur dedication as much as you can. one really important thing: when you make a mistake... do NOT get mad at teamates... and like show ur frustration. do not slam the floor or like pretend oull ur hair out. don't get in a funk... shake off the last mistake like it never happened.

highschool is a whole other world. you'll be competing for limited spots with mannnny more people than in middle school. if your asking these kinds of questions... you probobly won't make varsity. they can tell a varsity player from the start. the way they listen, get along with their team... and make friends. it'll help tons.

    good luck.

  3. Practice until try-outs and make sure you stay in really good shape. Try to play as much as you can between now and then. HS has a lot more pressure to be the best so be prepared to work hard.

  4. practice and get prepared

  5. jus practice in ur own

  6. you can Practice with people you now and  be prepare and keep on practicing in to August
