1. It's common that once you decide to get out of home school, that your mom is gonna freak out. Don't blame it on her though, she's probably nervous that your going to a public school and other things parents worry about.

-**For starters, if you want to make your mom happy, hang out with the right people, tell her about your friends (good points) and don't go out too much, don't go out too late either.

-**Also, get good grades, all parents are proud of their children when they bring back good grades from school. Do your homework, hand in assignments (make sure the answers are right though), and study for tests (don't study the night before, haha).

-**Try to get to school yourself sometimes, unless your mom really doesn't want you to. But this way you can lessen what she has to do. Walk, bike or take the bus to school. If it isn't an option, then skip it.

-**Make breakfast for her (if you don't already), maybe she'll see how your trying to help her. My parents like it when i make them breakfast (but then again their extremely happy when I actually do something other than go on the computer, haha).

Well, thats all I have for now. Good luck, but I'm sure your mom will get used to it (maybe) and understand! Have fun. ;)

  2. i used 2 be homeschool also

well as for the collecting and droping off cant u not walk to school or take your bike?

and try and by the cheapest supplies and mabey buy some things with your pocket money

  3. hey man, just for starters. Tell her that needn't worry about you at school. Yes, the trip nis spendy at time but, it needs to happen. I am not trying to be a d!@k but your mom sounds kinda needy. If you know what I mean. Also, she is probably worried you might mix with the "wrong" crowd. Hey, I got 2 boys and am worried about that myself. That does not deter me from sending them. You need a social life away from the house, it helps you get an idea of who you are and what you might like to do for a living when you grow up. Hey you may end up like me and want to be a mechanic school graduate who is in the Army and a truck driver. By choice kid, I had plenty of options. just give her a few reasons why she shouldn't worry. And besides, if you really look at it you are growing up just by telling her you want to do school away from home for yourself.
