  1. well use LAN(local area network)that will be gr8.

  2. In some areas, the highest speed connections are via cable, in others the highest speed are via some form of DSL. It isn't possible to say which will be fastest in your area.

  3. A WISP is fastest, I feel, if there is one in your area.

That's a Wireless Internet Service Provider. Go to http://www.wispdirectory.com to locate one, and see if you can use them. They'll need to do a site survey of your home to check. (You need to have line-of-site to one of there transmission points.)  Up-Front set-up cost is a bit (a couple of hundred, maybe?) but less than satellite (and it's faster, or just as fast, and highly reliable.)  Monthly fee is $30 to $40.

Cable's your next option.  They're right:  it MIGHT be a little slower whn everyone in the neighborhood is on.

I'd pick cable ahead of DSL.  Forget about DSL in my opinion.

Check out AT&T, or Verizon, or Sprint "Air Card" too...  these are fast, you'll be pleased, and the same fee (only) as a cell phone (I'm pretty sure.)  Make sure you're not paying for minutes!!

  4. I would use via cable better then lan and DSL, so i agree to use via cable.

  5. I use to have communinst-cast then switched to att dsl and it is not much slower than my cable was. However the fastest available internet you can get today is via fiber optic lines. So etiher verizon's Fios if it is available to you or att uverse see if they are available in your area.

  6. The speed is dependant on what you are going to be doing if you are just a normal person doing internet browsing, e-mail, multimedia, occasional heavy downloading than anything will do.  I have dsl and I have basic dsl plan at 384k/second download speed.  It is just fine.  I can watch movies online and download a ton of stuff at once.  So, just think about what you will be doing and then consider it from there.
