High bass in your car?

Question

uhh im im 13 and will get my bros car when i get a license

(in january of my sophmore year)

its an 05 malibu

my friend has a sweet car and i dont know if he has a subwoofer but when im in it i cann feel it shaking

i can hear it from like a football field away

i know he turns the volume and bass on his ipod and stereo up all the way

but i wana do the same thing with my car

i dont know if he has a subwoofer(s) or amp or anything

i know i wont be able to have any of them

whats the best way for people to notice my bass and volume when i drive by

i want people to stare

i want them to hear my bass from a football field away

but i really want to be noticed

what is the best way to do that without subwoofers and amps

Thats a dumb thing to want. It's not achievable without amps and subs though.

Your  not going to get any recognizable bass from the cars stereo system without amps and a subwoofer. It's just gonna sound distorted and weird, the only thing you'll be able to hear from a football field away is static sounding music at most. Btw, you really shouldn't be trying to attract attention to yourself, for cops its an easy opportunity to pull you over.(yes, you can get pulled over for having loud music) and also even if you do have good bass, that attracts attention from thieves, if your driving down the block with your nice stereo system booming, and a car thief sees you and realizes you have a nice system, he could break into your car to take it. All my buddies who have had their stereo and speakers stolen drove around blasting it with crazy bass and they admit they shouldn't have done it - it makes it obvious you have a nice system.

depends on the stock system, some cars have pretty good stock speakers/ decks in them..

but to be really noticed, start saving for a system.

Stick in two 15's, but there is little need to crank the bass, as it will distort, same goes for volume, bass does not increase because of volume increase, it just adds more noise. Your ears can only hear so much distortion from inside the car, from afar people think you look like a dork, so try to keep your box tuned correctly. If it sounds good from 100 yards, people will notice more than if it sounds like a bottle redemption center.

You could also try joining a kazoo band, that will get you attention.

turn your bass to the max on your stereo and all the stuff turn down the treble and it should make it into a deeper sound increasing bass. and dont turn your ipod to the max because then you look like a r****d cause your car speeker sound like cardboard same thing with me and this is how i solved it
