High gas prices a plot to reduce trafic conjestion.?

semes ovious that now that the gas is $4.00 +, traffic is not as bad as it used to be. would that be a reason the government is increasing the prices to avoid having to reinvent the highway system with so many conjestion problems. your oppinion..

The government does NOT control the price of gasoline.

And even if it did, it would be impossible to get ALL the government around the world to do the same.

The "government conspiracy" theory is the funniest I've heard so far, but it's the oil companies that are charging more. They say the prices have to do with importing petroleum, rather than tapping our own reserves. The government can, however, put a stop to it, if they'll just take action and quit talking about it.
