High gas prices... what can we do to help?

how can everyday people help with the high gas prices problem??

A single person can't do much. However if you can reduce the demand for Gasoline, prices should go down (then you don't really care do you).

Another way is to find a way to drive the future supply up, since oil is primarily a futures market, prices should go down now (It is hard for an ordinary person to do this).

A third way is to find a way to break up OPEC, that could be tough though, and I don't know how to do it (I doubt you do either).

Finally, you could just lower your fuel dependency so that high gas prices don't effect you as much, there are numerous ways for you to do so, including Hybrid Cars, riding your Bike, Carpooling.
