full question: Just like colonialism, high greenhouse gas emissions from more economically developed countries and their resulting consequences cause underdevelopment in African countries.

    Greenhouse gas emissions don't cause African nations to be underdeveloped, they just cause the air everyone breaths to be more polluted.  Currently the emissions have no impact on their development, but if tempature changes happen in a significant way it could cause them more problems.

    Main causes for underdevelopment, disease, poverty, famine, and education.
