High jump shoes that have good grip without spikes in them?

I know it sort of defeats the point to have them without spikes, but during winter track the surface we use to high jump gets ruined if you wear spikes. Do high jump shoes still typically have excellent grip (rubber bottoms) without the spikes in or do they tend to have more plastic. My running flats i use for winter aren't exactly allowing me to make the most of my jumps. As a side note, i've browsed pairs of them online and it seems like the most ideal or practical would be the adidas adistar high jump shoes (just going by what the bottoms look like) http://www.everythingtrackandfield.com/detail.aspx_Q_ID_E_4376_A_CategoryID_E_231 . anybody have these or know if they would?
