im 19 and looking to transfer to an out of state school. i would like to find a summer job that would help me take a large chunk out of the tuition costs. i currently work as a camp counselor which would be fine, but it is only 6 weeks out of the whole summer, leaving alot of time off=not making money. i know i cant make 25000 in one summer but i would at least like to make enuff in the summer and while im at school (working on campus, etc) to only have to take out minimal loans. any suggestions would be very helpful...no burger king or fast food tho

  1. I side with BV that your best chance at the most money is via sales commissions; but of course this depends on what the product is, the location (ie does anyone want that product there), and lots of other factors.

If you have any I.T. talents whatsoever I'd try a temp agency; maybe you can work a help desk position or even I.T. facilities set-up etc.

  2. look online. Tememarketing, construction (guy?), and certain sales jobs pay fairly well. you can also work more than 2 jobs. good luck.

  3. It's probably an unrealistic goal. Putting that kind of pressure on yourself while in college can really backfire. School needs to be the priority. If you compromise your grades, you will be in a bad position for future jobs or grad school. Think about staying in state where you won't have to worry about money.
