High pulse/semi-high blood pressure?

My husband has too high a resting pulse (avg. over 100). He also has semi-high blood pressure. It began about 5 months ago and was accompanied by the occasional fainting spells and hot flashes. He's 35, 5'11" about 240 lbs. He recently quit smoking. Doctors have tested him for everything they can think of, and can't come up with anything. Blood came back decent (they did start giving him testosterone and B12 shots b/c those levels were somewhat low), and no signs of cancer. Anyone go through this and have any ideas? Thanks!

  1. He needs to have his thyroid tested. For real. TSH doesn't count.

If that comes back OK, he needs to have hos adrenals tested.
