Question:

High school and FAFSA?

I haven't completed high school yet, but will complete it in September this year. When they ask me when I graduated do I put 2008 or other and do I put that I have my high school diploma? I can't enroll in the high school program because they said the main reason was because I would be done with high school prior to the fall semester. I also put that I graduated in September 2008 on the application and they said I can't go back and change it because I'm 18. They told me that I have to register as a regular student now. I misread the question and thought they asked to estimate when I would graduate. I was wondering if high school students could apply for FAFSA and what to put on the questions.

Thanks

  1. You apply for fafsa and you put that you will graduate in September of 2008. If you're not going to college in the fall semester but you are planning to go in the spring semester, then you just say that you only need aid for the spring semester which they ask somewhere on the fafsa, can't remember where. Don't put that you already graduated unless you are going to college in the fall semester.
