Does my high school principal have the right to look at my myspace page and call me down to her office because one of my friends left me a comment about a teacher at our school. All the comment said was that she thought the teacher was mean.

  1. Well its in the public  viewing?

    depends on the comment

  2. wow no !

  3. of course not no, no, no he doesnt have the right to do that that's why its called MYSPACE not PRINCIPALSPACE

  4. Set your myspace to private and then unless you add your principal to your friends they can't view it.

If or course they do see it, there's nothing they can do about it anyways. It's the internet and thus a public place to say and do whatever you want.

Your school principal can't change or do anything about that. So, no, you can't get in trouble for it.

  5. Unless the comment had harsh/inappropriate content or any sort of threat....no.

  6. I don't think she had the right to call you to the office, but if you don't want her to see your comments you should set your myspace to private.

  7. same thing happened at my school 2 years ago. a girl was suspended from school for the things she said on her myspace.

get a facebook and set it to only friends can view your profile. its way more secure.
