Hi, today is Thursday and next Friday I have highschool cheer tryouts. Nothing is required to make the team but people with tumbling skills are more likely to make it. I can only do a good roundoff nothing much. Also, i did junior high cheer for two years so i have some experience. Im not that good at jumps too. I am pretty average.

I was wondering if ( if you have any highschool cheer experience) you could tell me anything about the highschool cheer level, tips to get ready, tips to perfect jumps (at least a little better) in a week, and just all about highschool cheer!

Thanks so much ! You dont know how much this means to mee

  1. You're try outs were like mine. I'm going to be a freshman in high school soon and we had high school try outs months ago, and nothing was required. You're like me. I'm average too. Cept you can do a round off and I can't lol.

Start Stretching every night. Pratice in front of a mirror. Make sure you are smiling, that you're moves are tight, and that you are loud. While watching TV sit in a straddle. It will help stretch you're legs without you even knowing. You can't really learn a new tumbling move in  a week so just keep praticing you're round off every day. Good luck and I hope you make it!!!!!!

  2. when jumping bend your legs back a lot
