High school clothes?

I am getting ready to be a freshman at high school. I am a girl and always wear big t shirts and gym shorts is this okay to wear on the first day of school? I don't like dressing up.

If you like casual try a more fitted t shirt, or v neck and some jeans.

Try not to continue wearing the big t-shirts and get more that fit you, and accent your figure.

Ha Ha i know what you mean

i don't like dressing up either

but in my opinion

i always think that first impressions count

so maybe if you just wear a t-shirt

and some comfortable bermidas

you'll look good

=)

I dress just like you, except with boys cargo shorts (that go down past my knee). I say wear what makes you comfortable and something that you like. If you want to wear the big t-shirts and gym shorts, go ahead! That's what I'm going to do, too.

It shouldn't matter what you wear, it's who you are. Just be nice and friendly, do well in school, and you'll be fine!

Of course you should always wear what makes you comfortable and you should always be yourself, so, yes, wearing a big t-shirt and gym shorts is fine.  However, its important to realize that how you dress makes an impression and says who you are.  Being that it will be the very first day of high school, you don't want an impression of you rigidly set by the clothes you are wearing. I realize that you don't like to dress up, but simply wearing jeans or nicer shorts with a simple top isn't really dressing up.  Perhaps you can compromise and go with something in the middle.  Something that is not so casual as gym shorts, but isn't ridiculously dressed up. So, may be just go with some jeans or some nice shorts and a t-shirt.

Don't ever wear BIG t-shirts just wear normal ones go to Gap, Hollister, Old Navy, Ralphlauren and more good stores.
