High school freshman beginning art class help!

so i start school soon and i am going to be a freshman. i am taking beginning drawing and pant. what kind of stuff do i need to buy for the class?

From my experiences, I didn't buy anything at all. Unless your teacher had mailed you what you needed to bring, he or she would tell you on the first day of class whether or not the supplies are there or that you would need to go buy them yourself.

I would wait until the first day of class so your teacher can tell you. You don't want to buy all of this stuff and end up not using it.

you don't need to buy anything; your instructor will tell you if there's anything you need after the first week, but generally the class will provide your materials for you.

all i had to do for my painting class was pay five dollars and i was able to use any of the acrylics, brushes, etc.

If you go to a public school, all the art materials should be bought already.

If you go to a private school, if the materials are not available through the school, I recommend calling and asking the teacher.

Otherwise, just make sure you have the basics: Pens, regular pencils, paper, erasers...
