that depends on if you want a time for the average good swimmer, or someone who doesnt practice.  i would say around 2 minutes, or faster for the better swimmers...

For a 200 meter free or 200 yard?  

Most often high school is swam in yards... In that case in my area to make it to states you need to go a 2:02 minimum.  Winning time is usually a 1:54ish.  When not at huge meets or anything I see mostly 2:20's for the average non year round swimmer.
