my high school has almost 3000 students..so it's big. my question is i dropped this one teacher's class but im taking another class that he teaches next year, us history...its required. i'm taking early bird and there are 2 other teachers that teach this class. since i dropped one teacher's other class, will my guidance counselor purposely put me into one of the other two teachers in that teach us history and NOT in his class? i really want to have him as a teacher because he is a SUPER good teacher. so is it possible that i can have him again??

yes..i asked a similiar question but i didn't add enough details..sorry.

  1. It would depend on the reason you dropped the class. If it was because you weren't doing well in it, the counselor might try to give you a different teacher. On the other hand, if you changed out of it because there was something else you needed to take instead, it won't make any difference.

Unless there's some special situation, the teacher you get will probably be random and just based upon what works best in the schedule... it's really difficult for guidance to get everyone's schedules worked out in big schools.
